Description
The SE40 Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) is a versatile, multi-function autonomous boat platform equipped with a 4-bottle water sampler system. Designed for flexibility, it supports a wide range of environmental and hydrographic missions, including water quality monitoring, bathymetric surveys, and river discharge measurements.
With its fast mission-switching capability, the SE40 can carry multiple instruments such as water probes, echo sounders, and ADCP units, enabling operators to adapt quickly to changing survey requirements.
Automatic mission planning allows operators to pre-program sampling and monitoring routes with just a few clicks on the base station computer. Once deployed, the SE40 operates autonomously, collecting samples, performing measurements, and transmitting real-time data. For areas requiring manual precision, operators can take direct control via remote controller to navigate tight or difficult locations.
Powered by an innovative water jet thruster, the SE40 reaches speeds of up to 5 m/s while remaining tangle-free from aquatic vegetation and floating debris. Its trimaran hull design ensures exceptional stability even at high speeds, while intelligent collision avoidance supported by onboard radar sensors detects and avoids obstacles within 50 metres.
In manual mode, the SE40 provides real-time video feedback, giving operators enhanced situational awareness for safe and efficient navigation.
The SE40 delivers high performance, precision, and adaptability for professional surveying and monitoring operations both in-land and offshore waters.
